Hilco is our family's stretch of the San Marcos River. The name is short for Hill Country, and the setting earns it.

The water here is spring fed, clear and cool year round, with a private dock that belongs to your group for the length of your stay. There is no public access nearby. Most afternoons the only traffic is a kayaker drifting past.

Three separate homes sit on the property, a main house and two casitas, so a large group can gather without living on top of one another. Between them: a pool and hot tub, a fire pit, a functional fitness gym in the workshop, and long tables built for the kind of dinner that runs past dark.

We are a family of six. We built Hilco around the way we actually travel: everyone together when it matters, and a door to close when it doesn't.

The estate features a spacious four-bedroom main house along with two private casitas, comfortably accommodating up to 24 guests across three separate living spaces. The layout is ideal for multi-generational families, multiple couples, or groups traveling together who appreciate having room to spread out.

The heart of the property is the private stretch of the spring-fed San Marcos River. Swim, fish, paddle, or float directly back to your private dock after a day on the river. With no public access nearby, you'll often enjoy long stretches of peaceful riverfront with only the occasional kayaker or floater passing by.

When you're ready to come back together, enjoy the private pool and hot tub, gather around the fire pit, challenge the kids on the playground and trampoline, prepare meals together, or squeeze in a workout in the functional fitness gym. Please Note

Hilco is designed for guests who appreciate peaceful surroundings and respectful gatherings. It is not a party house.

To help us maintain a positive relationship with our neighbors, parking is limited to a maximum of 6 vehicles per reservation. Street parking is not permitted within the neighborhood, so please plan accordingly and carpool when possible.

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and only registered guests are permitted on the property. Exterior cameras monitor guest count for safety and security.

As a true Texas riverfront property, you may occasionally encounter wildlife and insects despite our regular pest control service. We embrace the natural beauty of the Hill Country and provide insect repellent to help you enjoy your time outdoors comfortably.

We do not live in Martindale but are typically an hour away if any support is needed.
